Woman Driver

Presenting the e-Book "Woman Driver" - On sale at:

These are excerpts taken from the introduction:

"Have you ever been in a car with your boyfriend, husband, father, brother… most likely your male passenger was complaining about your driving.
This in turn might have contributed in making both your temper and your driving worse, eventually ending up with a quarrel.
I know so well because cat fights with my wife are few and far between, and the topic of her driving makes up for 90% of the causes.
To be honest, I believe she is not such a bad driver, but I seem unable to restrain from pointing out every little error.
I’m qualified to spot such errors just because I had the chance to dispose of a significantly high mileage on my life odometer, a fair share of which was accomplished on two wheels, and this tends to make you more aware of potential road dangers.
But the timing is crucial: whilst driving a woman is more edgy and sensitive (like anybody), every comment is perceived like a personal attack, a threat to her dignity, a limitation of her liberty…
My hope is that the same comment read at will and in a different contest, will work wonders without offending.
That’s why I think this book is also a perfect gift from a man, who cares about your safety on the road, but don’t want to argue all the time, a perfect reading for a rainy Sunday on the sofa, possibly together.

Are women worst drivers than men?
Actually no, only different.
Men seems to have something of a genetical advantage, they are more keen and confident drivers but therefore feel entitled to take more risks: drinking, not putting on the seat belt, not keeping the distance from the vehicle in front, carrying more speed and generally being more aggressive at the wheel.
Women are not really interested in the process and pay less attention in what they do.
There are exceptions, but generally speaking everything boils out to the difference between dangerous driving (by men) vs bad driving (by women), or few severe accidents vs a lot of small crashes.
So this book is going to be useful to both genders: think about it, the next time you might be in the position to admonish a man about his bad driving habits, so feel free to promote this book to men and woman alike.
Far from being just a way to give you more power towards men, the goal of this book is to improve the usage of the public roads, and make them more enjoyable and safe for everybody.

This book is going to be useful to youngsters, fresh from driving school but with many doubts left over; to long terms drivers which collected bad habits along the way; and to everybody that lays in between.

To read this book, you are supposed to have a driving license.
This work may improve your driving skills, but surely it will improve the experience of driving.
There are two main sections: part one is about the behavior of the driver, part two is about the car itself and how it works.
Next time you get in your car, I would like you to think you are about to use a potentially dangerous weapon and a highly enjoyable toy: don’t underestimate any of these two concepts."
