I'm going to break some rules, from time to time.
Surely the demeanor of Bramley's Garage will extend to cars and bikes I used to have in the past but, being a place of dreams, it also means I will speak of things I see on the road, and would like to have myself.
The Morgan is a good example of a car I really like: unique, bespoke and full of character.
With the kind of testimonial it had on the roof, I couldn't resist to post these few pictures, the pregnant cat got down soon, to come and rub against my ankles, so in the last picture you can enjoy the car alone.
With all the speed limits we have nowadays, one must search for different gratification from his wheels: the pleasure to be surrounded by a special environment, or the excitement you can experience at reasonable speeds on machines which are not numbed by modern technologies...
These are the charms of a car like a Morgan (just like a Caterham, and not much less sporty either).
Di tanto in tanto infrangerò qualche regola.
Naturalmente la missione di Bramley's Garage si estenderà ad auto e moto che ho avuto nel passato ma, dato che si tratta di un contenitore di sogni, parlerò anche di quello che vedo per la strada e che mi piacerebbe possedere.
La Morgan è un esempio perfetto delle auto che amo, unica, cucita su misura e carismatica.
Se aggiungiamo il simpatico guardiano che si riposava sul tettuccio, non potevo resistere alla tentazione di rendervi partecipi.
La gatta incinta è scesa subito, per venire a strusciarsi sulle mie caviglie e permettervi di ammirare la macchina da sola, nell'ultima foto.
Con i limiti di velocità con i quali siamo costretti a convivere al giorno d'oggi, bisogna cercare nuove gratificazioni dai nostri mezzi: il piacere di essere circondati da un ambiente speciale, oppure le sensazioni che si possono provare a velocità ragionevoli su veicoli che non siano filtrati dalla tecnologia moderna...
Queste sono le lusinghe di auto come la Morgan (esattamente come la Caterham e senza dover necessariamente rinunciare ad una certa dose di sportività)
